DC sports are in a sad state. The Redskins are the true masters of error and the second half collapse. I think Joe Gibbs' strategy is along the lines of: "if you show up and play well for the first half, then it's up to the other team to emerge after halftime and battle uphill." Of course, lots of teams (especially ask the Giants and the Eagles this season) are happy to oblige, and beat the piss out of the Skins in the second half. Another home team, the Wizards, are at least equally as bad. They went 0-5 at the beginning of the season, and now everyone is rejoicing because they won ONE game. Is that what we've been reduced to? Celebration because our team can manage to win a single game? Man, we're pathetic. I'm very close to giving up on DC sports. It's hard to be a DC sports fan, especially living in New England, all of whose sports teams seem to be invincible.
Oh yeah--and fumbling off the snap...that is really pathetic.
